What is changing?
Going forward, Signiant Media Shuttle and the Signiant App will no longer support IE11 on Windows and Safari on mac OS X 10.9.x and 10.10.x.
Why is Signiant making this change?
IE 11 on Windows and Safari on mac OS X 10.9/10.10 are older browsers which do not have support for more modern browser security settings. Also, these browsers are being retired by Microsoft and Apple respectively. As a result, Signiant is also discontinuing support for these browsers.
How does this change affect me?
After September 1, 2021, if you try to use Media Shuttle or the Signiant App with IE11 on Windows or Safari on mac OS X 10.9.x/10.10.x, you will experience critical errors in site loading and functionality.
Is there anything I need to do or change at my end?
Check which web browser version you are using. If you are using one of the affected platforms, you must upgrade to a supported web browser version in order to avoid disruptions to your Media Shuttle operations.
For Windows users, the recommended browser is Microsoft Edge (latest version), Mozilla Firefox (latest version), or Google Chrome (latest version).
