Affected Signiant Product(s): Media Shuttle
Affected Platform(s): Red Hat Enterprise Linux/CentOS 6

What is changing?
Signiant is ending support for SDCX Servers running on RedHat/Centos 6, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows Server 2008.
Why is Signiant making this change?
- End of vendor support: Vendors ended support for the mentioned operating systems in 2020.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux/CentOS 6 maintenance support ended November 2020
- Windows 7 support lifetime ended January 2020
- Windows Server 2008 support lifetime ended January 2020
- Security risks: Retired operating systems do not receive security patches from vendors, which means they are less secure and more vulnerable to hacks.
- Operational impact: The mentioned operating systems are not compatible with latest versions of SDCX servers.
How does this change affect me?
Our records show that you are running a version of the Signiant SDCX Server on one of the affected operating systems.
Media Shuttle servers running on an unsupported operating system will fail to work after January 1, 2022.
Is there anything I need to do or change at my end?
To avoid disruptions to Media Shuttle operations, you must upgrade your operating system to a version that meets the current Media Shuttle system requirements.
